Before the billion dollar cosmetics industry, our Grandmother's had their gardens - and their pantries. Gramma may not have known what an alpha-hydroxy acid was, but she knew where to find one in the kitchen. 

Learn about common household and kitchen staples that help keep skin polished and treat common skincare complaints: masks, scrubs, glycerine infusions and more. 

Take home your own custom mask, glycerine infusions and your choice of hydrosol distilled by Alchemy, plus the confidence to select and mix up other batches for personal use. Monique's classes are informal and informative with plenty of time for hands-on mixing. 

For twenty years Monique has been using the aromatics from plants to create functional skincare and perfumes. First for herself, and now for Alchemy Slow Living Studio. Monique is the owner, esthetician and formulator at Alchemy in Ferndale, making Beauty for Busy Spirits.
