Amber Perfume Workshop with Monique from Alchemy Slowliving Studios, Friday, November 10th 6:30pm

Amber is of the season as much as pumpkin spice. Amber isn’t NEW: It's a whole genre of perfumes. Learn the three components that define Amber and customize your own Amber perfume. Once you know the framework you can apply the technique for scenting body oils, shampoos, lotions and more. Plus we will sneak in a little science of scent and WHY we love amber in the autumn. 

Each attendee will make their own fantasy of amber guided by Monique of Alchemy Slow Living Studios in Ferndale. Take home a 10ml perfume bottle.

 The basics of the workshop are the same. 

 In the workshop, we will;

• Develop richer storytelling and vocabulary around scent
• Gain an understanding of perfumery construction through amber accords in perfume design
• Have hands-on (nose-on) experience in fragrance formulation
• Attendees will have access to all materials to create and bottle their own design 
• Learn the three key aromatics that define 'amber' and how amber has evolved as a perfume family
• Resources for 'where to go next' 

The workshop will be two hours and participants will

• Create their own 10 ml atomizer of a proper natural perfume
• All materials provided
• 15 and up, please
